Benjamin Kheng is a Singaporean musician, actor, writer, and co-founder of pop outfit The Sam Willows.
The band has performed on international stages such as SXSW in the US, MU:CON in South Korea, Summer Sonic in Tokyo, and recently played to sold out crowds in Singapore, Malaysia and We The Fest in Jakarta.
They’ve amassed close to 15 million streams on Spotify, making them the most streamed band in Singapore.
As an actor, Benjamin was nominated for Best Actor at the Raindance Film Festival for his work in the TV series The Breakup List, and starred in Dick Lee's biopic WonderBoy on the big screen. His stage work includes Toy Factory’s Romeo & Juliet, W!ld Rice’s The Emperor’s New Clothes and Pangdemonium’s Fun Home. He can be seen on Channel 5’s FAM!, as well as Toggle’s Dead Lucky and The Intruder.
Benjamin has written for both local and regional acts, musicals (Dream Academy’s Detention Katong), and is currently writing for The BENZI Project, a new comedy series.
